Lazarus

I've been learning about Lazarus and his death in Bible class.  Knowing about this topic helps me know that God is the only person in the world who is in control of everything and He knows things.  The part I know the most about is that God is never actually killing us but He allows things to happen for a reason.  The part that is the most confusing is if God is really in control of everything why isn't He there when all those earthquakes and tsunamis happen in the world?  Does He allow that to happen for a reason or does He just do that on purpose?  I'd like to know more about God and His purpose for death.

Power over Death

I've been learning about how Jesus has power over death.  This topic reminds me that Jesus took our sins when he died.  The part that is the most confusing is why Jesus let Lazarus die.  I'd like to know more about how Satan will die.
