French Estates

I’ve been learning about the French estates in Social Studies. The part i know most about is how the churchmen, noblemen, and peasants lived. The Churchmen were people such as priests and church ministers. The noblemen were the really rich people in France and lastly the peasants were the people who lived in poverty. They lived in muddy houses and ate about 3 pounds a day. The part that is most confusing is the difference between the bourgeoisie and a peasant. I'd like to know more about not only the French estates, but other estates from other countries as well.
